Good to see a TR being used an advertising.

If I was going to use that number of fasteners to fix the number plate to the boot lid I’d have made more of an effort to get it straight (unless the super-wonky look is a trick of the camera angle!)

Well I can finally see that owning a TR4 is cool and stylish - see catalogue

Also gone for the modern twist of de-badging!

Ah, Boden! I bought clothes from Johnnie Boden's first tiny catalogue in the early '90s and from many thereafter. However, as I grew older the designs moved in the opposite direction and became younger and we parted ways. Time to look again perhaps...

No no Hamish.   That was mice.

No no Rob, not "Mice", I think you mean "Life"

You know...

42 was the "Meaning of life" (Not "The meaning of mice")

Remember the book Charlie - it was the mice who commissioned construction of the earth as the ultimate computer (designed by 'Deep Thought' and built by the Magratheans - Slartibartfast made the twiddly bits) , to find the question whose answer had already been determined as 42.

Rob,

Ah..

Sorry. it's my age.

But I guess anyone who knows what nonsense we are all talking about must be about the same age.

(i.e. The average age of sidescreen owners.)

“Lothbury Moleskin Blazer”

Disgusting !
How many poor innocent little moles had to die and be sewn together to create that?

Charlie

I shared your concern in the late 60's regarding Crimplene. It took the skin of 50 Crimples to make a decent pair of trousers.

They are now extinct.

I think that Terry Wogan had wished that “Moleskin trousers” had been extinct when this picture was taken.

People commented that they thought that one of the moles was still alive and trying to escape through the front of his trousers?
