Lebro Posted March 16, 2022 Report Share Posted March 16, 2022 (edited) It would not work without a tube, it does not seal to the rim or the valve, it is just a reducing collar. Only way you can use that rim is to fit a tube, or weld the hole up, then re-drill to the correct size. (new hole does not have to be where the old one was !) I think they are also used in earlier land Rovers. Surprised that the tyre fitter did not know this. He/she must be able to get them from his/her normal supplier. Charlie. qkingston Posted March 17, 2022 Report Share Posted March 17, 2022 So having tried 3 local tyre fitting companies, none hold these in stock and neither did their suppliers (even a Land Rover specialist who said he had real trouble trying to source them).
