Low port head cracked

Hi Mates 

just picked my  low port head up from being tested, it has a faint crack between the valves on one cylinder , they never charged me  and I forgot to ask if they had pressured tested it , and I don't feel like going back tp ask them , but the crack looks like it just goes through the seats can't see it going further , would this be posable? --all the best Barry

Hi Barry,

if the crack is contained within the seats then consider getting hardened seat inserts fitted.

If you leave the crack as is it will continue to grow and then fail.
