JJC
Another fault has appeared. Stuck in traffic or idling temperature indicates fine. Running at 3000 rpm or more the gauge goes right up. Knock it out of gear and the temperature drops quickly. Anyone experienced that? JJC
RogerH
Hi John, sounds like the 10V voltage regulator is not regulating. The higher rpm is giving more volts to the gauge. Does the fuel gauge change also. Fit new solid state regulator and that may sort it. Roger
JJC
Roger that’s what I was hoping. Easiest to fix.
