dmachura
I have a strange squeak when I depress the clutch or when the car is under slight load and moving slowly. It is not there at idle out of gear. I've attached the sounds it makes. Car runs strong and well but the noise is concerning. Help! dmachura
Interesting.... but the squeak seems more forward. It started after replacing my head gasket, is there anything on the head that would make a squeak like that? Edited September 13, 2020 by dmachura
RobH
That syncopated squeak almost sounds like the fan-belt to me. Since it happens when pressing the clutch I wonder about crankshaft end-float. What engine is this - 4 or 6 cylinder ? I'm not sure the head gasket is relevant, that may just be a co-incidence, but why did you need to change it ?
Motorsport Mickey
Bit of a clue Rob, it's posted in the TR7/8 section. Mick Richards

dmachura
I had the rear heater hose blow, it did rain antifreeze over the back end so maybe it is the clutch, but would antifreeze get inside bell housing?
