Malbaby
Does anyone have a bare chassis and the time to measure the exact location of the bracket that is welded to the main chassis cross member. I am installing a Triumph 6 cyl into a 4A and need to ensure that I have the exact location of the two bolt holes for the engine mount attachment. ianc
A member of the North London Group owns a TR4 (CPL61bB) which I owned some 30 years ago, and which has been fitted with the 6-cylinder Triumph engine on twin carburettors - beautifully smooth and no starting problems! I'll enquire whether he can assist you. Ian Cornish

BlueTR3A-5EKT
Hogan's Dové? Doesn't that have a 6 cyl engine? Peter W Edited August 10, 2020 by BlueTR3A-5EKT
ianc
I'm informed that my old TR4 has been sold from the North London Group. I don't know whether Gary Bate, who (with Eddie Holden) took it from me in 1978, was the person who converted it to 6-pot - might be worth asking him?
