JohnC
Hi all, Does anyone know the overall length of the standard CP-series valves - from face to the far end of the stem? Or do you have a couple you could measure for me please? This is part of the 35yr saga of discovery that is owning a TR6 that the PO rebuilt, badly... Thanks, John
Blakey
Hi John, Just measured my old set and they are approximately 117mm, give or take 0.25mm as they have deposits on them. Regards Paul.

Thanks, John I think that you may have to be careful on this one as BL did modify their cylinder heads to combat valve seat cracking and for better heat transfer. Has your car got the original head on it? I would contact Chris Whitor here in the UK as he is what I would call the Cyl. head guru! He trades as Chris Whitor and has a web page etc. Bruce. Waldi
I ordered new valves from him, all 12. His website showed the correct valves for my CP head. Waldi
JohnC
Thanks Paul. Of course, if I'd looked in my workshop manual, I would have known that was the answer
