Hi All,

I recently replaced the battery in my 1965 TR4a.  While doing so I noticed there is a 9 digit number in mirror/reverse embossed on the bulk head area where the battery sits.

When transposed, the number reads SRSAKR702.  Picture attached.

Anyone come across this or have any idea of what it relates to?  I have tried to research but not come across anything.

thanks in advance

At a guess I would say thats transferred itself into the thick coating from a battery that had been fitted tight in.

It is also odd that some of the letters are not reversed. The S and the K are right way round. Very odd?

I think the "S" you reference are actually 2s the "K" I think is actually an arrow next to a 1.
