4,4a,5 Steel hardtop rear trim

Recommended Posts

Just about to fit the stainless steel trim to the rear of the steel hardtop and wondered if there was any advice on the best method to do this. I have the nine clips or could it be secured with clear silicon, non setting sealant, or any combination of the aforementioned.

Cheers,

Tim

If you have the clips then use them as theyre NLS now and put a bead of non setting windscreen sealer into the strip before fitting.

Thanks Stuart,

Clips came from Moss quite recently, so are they nearly right but not quite, so probably won't do the job! Is silicon an option?

Dont use silicon its a butchers tool. I will see if I can find you some clips on Monday that will do.
