mafield
How do you go about syncronising (or balancing) the butterflies on a TR5 (with no air bleed valve fitted). Not something I have ever done...... so any advice / help welcome!
jerrytr5
Get hold of a synchrometer - worth the investment. Jerry
Rob Salisbury
If the throttle bodies have ever been taken off then you must check that they are aligned properly otherwise you will never get a reliable even tickover, there was a Triumph jig for doing this but a straight edge across the inlet spigots works just as well, then you are good to go with the synchrometer. john.r.davies
Made my own, from a length of angle iron, with studs glued into slightly overlarge holes, so they could find their own position when engaged in the holes in the throttle bodies. But you have to do this before you take the bodies off!
