Replacement soft top fitting

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I purchased a replacement soft top hood quite a while ago as the existing roof has a small tear.

I never got around to having it fitted, you know what it's like....life and other interests, projects etc tend to get in the way!

Anyway, having recently had a renewed interest in the 6 and wanting to smarten it up a little, I wondered whether anyone can recommend anyone to fit the replacement hood?

I'm in the East Midlands area and based between Nottingham and Derby.

It's got to be someone who's really good at the job as im concerned about the bodywork being damaged or scratched during the process!

Anyway, as said, if anyone could make an recommendations, then I'd be really grateful.

Thanks in advance.

not my region but have done a few including one last week. not difficult but time consuming. You want to replace the front and side seals and velcro's, consider tidying up the hood frame, you'll need new webbing, new snap fasteners etc. it's a solid days work, more if you get into hood frame refurb etc.

definitely get someone who's done a few. it's the sort of job you get better and faster at each time
