foster461
Car looks pretty good in the pictures Steve. 1972 TR6 with in a color that was introduced in 1973. Is that just calendar/model year overlap ? Stan

There is a similar car down here Stuart.

saffrontr
Stan, the first Magenta was CP76875-O which was a Trial paint car built on the 4th July 1972 and displayed at the Earls Court Motor Show later that year. It still exists and is in the TRR but painted Red. The first production car proper in Magenta was CF622U built at the end of August 1972 that is also in the UK however painted in Sapphire Blue! Good to see that there are at least two still in Magenta! cheers Derek

foster461
We should be celebrating the quirky 70's colors like magenta, topaz and poo brown and not painting them red.

I must admit, I DO like Magenta . . . .it works with the shape of the car Not sure about celebrating poo brown, that, for me, is a step too far.
