Hamish
Just a heads up for info no connection to seller undertake your own due diligence. no bids as yet so I’m not ruining anyone’s day. it seems a fair price at the moment. Triumph TR3 - 6 CWP NOS 4.3:1 Stanpart 502523 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164275601305
Dic Doretti
I do not think TRs ever had a 4.3:1 ratio. Standard was 3.7:1, with overdrive 4.4:1 and TR6 was 3.45:1 but I could be wrong. Cheers Richard
ianc
The Homologation Papers which Graham Robson produced in 1962 for the Works' TR4s list: 3.7, 4.1, 4.3 and 4.55. Other ratios are possible because Standard Triumph produced vans. The TR6 uses 3.45. Ian Cornish

Charlie D
There is something about that label that rings a bell. I’m certain that I have seen that typeface, layout, and the jagged perforations on MOD parts in government surplus shops. Could it have been for an RAF Standard Vanguard pickup truck? The seller also had it on last week for £240. (Obviously no bidders.) Charlie
Charlie D
Just found this: "LV7/SD is Army. LV7 is the VAOS prefix for non Standardised British vehicles SD is Standard Motors Ltd"
