Just taken this off.

How old is it? When did Armstrong stop making telescopic dampers?

Iain

Wasn't sure if it was a date, but possible I guess.

If they lasted 25 years I suppose that isn't bad.

I decided to go with Koni Classics, standard springs at they front (stayed with Lever Arms at the back, though with 20 weight oil to slightly stiffen them).

The car rides great and I am very happy with the set up.  Incidentally I went back to 165 x 15 (Pirelli) and the car is very progressive now in terms of handling, instead of the PO’s thicker tyres grip/ spin arrangement. I’m not going to stay with a Boxster, but then I don’t want to!
