Anna
Hey So this is a bit of a long shot but I’m trying to track down a TR6 that my dad owned many many years ago. He loved it and I know that one of his friends spotted it a while back so it’s still around. I was just hoping he’d be able to see it or sit in it at a car show day or even have a little drive, as it holds lots of happy memories for him. I only have the number plate so not even sure it’s possible but could anyone tell me how I might begin to try and track down the owner?! Thanks for any help, this would mean so much to him Edited July 1, 2020 by Anna Didn’t realise last one had posted!
Paulfc
Hi, What’s the registration as that’s the starting point. There are people on here who could be called CCDs - Classic Car Detectives!

rcreweread
Anna - it may help if you could indicate what part of the country your dad was in when he owned it. Cheers Rich

Anna might be worth contacting Derek Graham at saffrontr6@outlook.com Derek is the TR Register TR6 registrar due to gdpr he won’t be able to share any details he has with you, but if the car is owned by a member he may be able to pass your details to them

SteveB21
Hi Anna - the car belongs to a member of the London group - I will PM with you his details. Cheers Steve
saffrontr
Good news that the car belongs to a member of the London Group Steve because there has been no ownership recorded in the club since July 2004. cheers Derek

Anna only thing I could suggest is talking to the London based TR specialists ie Enginuity and Crown Classics (sure there are others) who might be servicing the car, again due to GDPR they (shouldn't) be giving out details but again they may be willing to pass your details on to the owner.
