qkingston
So why is a TR4a choke cable around £66 when a TR7 (& MGB) twist/lock cable £12. Are they that different, why such a huge margin? Rgds David
RogerH
Hi David, they are significantly different. Far more work to manufacture. I believe the TR7 know is moulded on where as the TR4/4A is a push fit knob The TR4/4A choke cable is repairable if your is playing up. Takes a bit of experiment but can be sorted. qkingston
Mine's not a 4a one, TR6 I think; gotta go. £66 for a cable still seems excessive
