I have the original fluted trim which covers the fuel tank from the inside of the car. I have cleaned it with hot soapy water and it is looking a bit tired. In the garage I have a spray can of Simoniz trim reviver. Is this safe to use on such an old bit of trim? It works well on the Passat dashboard.
