john.r.davies
Another report from Mid-Ohio! In the US the SVRA, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, is the body that leads classic car racing, and like most clubs it has its own magazine. And surprise, surprise, it's electronic! The latest edition features a report from the Kastner Cup at Mid-Ohio, and you can read it here! Or rather, there: https://www.flipsnack.com/thesvra/stq-7-3/full-view.html And while you read it, just appreciate the quality of the pictures, the readabilty of the text, how easy it is to 'turn' the pages. Surely, in a rational world, a club like TRR would want to have something as good as this as its organ? PS the article is a tad disappointing, one, ONE! paragraph, less than 200 words on the Cup! john.r.davies
It's out! The Classic Motor Films record of the 2020 Kastner Cup race: What a good film! Tells the story of the race without commentary, exciting for start to finish! My thanks to all the Friends of Triumph and everyone at the SVRA, for what they have achieved and regrets for what might have been if it were not for Covid. But most of all, best wishes to Kas Kastner, the original Triumphero and to Betty. Thinking of you.
