Hamish
Can anyone tell me how thick TR3a pads are when new. i have new discs at 13mm and some new old stock ferrodo that are just under 18mm each. it’s all very tight - caused some binding the other day so put in half used pads. I don’t want to buy more pads if they are going to be as thick causing the same issues. Thanks H Ps posted on similar lines before but I’m doing the jobs now..... quite fancy mintex 1144 but they are expensive are mintex classics any good ?
stuart
New discs and new pads will be a tightish fit, You could just block the pads down a little with some 80 grit. Stuart.
Hamish
Thanks Stuart. I did find some references online that suggested new pads were 15 - 16mm the ferrodo ones I have are very nearly 18mm quite a big difference. I have tried to contact mintex to see what their classics are H
