Which soft top frame?

Recommended Posts

I seem to have a TR5 windscreen surrond and my soft top header has the later locking arms. So my question is is this soft top frame a TR5 frame and hood or a modified 4A frame?

There is no zip out window but I know this was taken to a hood specialist for fitting probably about 25 years ago. There are no poppers on the rear of the hood, more like spikes. I'll take a few more photos for clarity later.

Thanks

Great, thanks. Now I just need to decide on the material, Plastic or Mohair, whatever happened to Double Duck?

It is possible to get hoods made in Double Duck but they do fade after a while, Vinyl is the easiest to live with and fold down easily (something you will need to learn to do properly to preserve the windows) Mohair looks nice but is bulky and also requires a fair bit of maintenance.
