There is a spring that holds the two bushes together, one off the holder has lost itspiece to put the spring in (see picture). who can help or knows where to find the part. I have a dozen or so used red ones from later DR3 type wiper motors but I do not have a CRT wiper motor to strip to check if they will fit. As Roger says - easy to make from vulcanised fibre or nylon. I will measure a red one and post its dimensions.
