stuart
I dont have a picture but the rod is held in a small bracket that is screwed to the metal work of the dash not the glove box itself. Stuart.
Ian Vincent
Here's picture of my bracket and rod. They are homemade but they are in the correct place. Rgds Ian
BlueTR3A-5EKT
Parts book view for LHD Shews bracket that is screwed to dash panel on the edge of the glove box door aperture and the shaped stay rod. The door has a bent aluminium tag with a hole in it to attach the stay to. These tags often get broken off. Parts that are available are on this page. https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/bracket-buffer-and-check-rod-601969.html?assoc=118073 Peter W
Richardtr3a
If the small tag breaks off you can replace it with a chrome clip from a photo frame which has to be recessed into the lid under the aluminium cover and needs a a small hole to fit the rod. Once it is in it is hardly noticeable.
