Got an old heater box to which I'm going to instal a new core and have acquired a minibus fan motor from the states. However I need to fit a fan to it. The originals are not available and wonder if anyone has found a good or better alternative before I try and track down an original. I want to build the new unit before taking my existing one out as there is always the risk that the blade will disintegrate on removal from the fan motor. (That what sees to have happened to my donor unit - it had the dead motor and broken jammed on fan laying inside it) Any suggestions or do I track down a second hand original. I used a Spal booster fan from Europa spares, similar to the one used in the Clayton kit. https://www.europaspares.com/heater-box-fan-only.html The heater box will need modification to fit it, but the difference in performance is worth it.
