c.hydes
John, there is a very recent thread on the TR6 forum website today concerning the overdrive switch, have a look. Yes removed my column lever switch and fitted a replacement momentary switch to a gear knob. Never looked back, one of the best improvements fitted. Colin.

tthomson
You can get suitable switches from Amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07RGDR726/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A2BTSZU32SZ5O4&psc=1 Also Rapid Online, RS Components, Farnell, and a bunch of other places. You just need a soldering iron, wires, solder and information on where to connect. TT

I do have contact details if you PM me. The gear knob was made by a local wood turner, and other bits from RS components. More details here: Colin.
