Keith A
A quick question..... What are the pros and cons of stainless steel bumpers v chrome bumpers? I've been told stainless are not as good, any views?
tr graham
They look great when new , but scratch very easily , the scratches are hard to polish out by hand , but on the other hand if you dent or bend one it can be more easily repaired then polished back to a high finish without the chroming costs. graham
Keith A
Thanks Graham, I was aware of the advantage of repair but nor the easily scratched issue
iani
I had them on my Stag, it was hit by a C-max on the O/S/R corner, I removed some of his paint, no scratches, no sign of impact whatsoever. The C-max had 3 points of impact, I'd have stainless again tomorrow.

Nigel Triumph
Try a forum search. Been discussed more than once. I'm a fan of Harrington stainless bumpers. Nigel
