Just been looking at the BMH site, will TR6 doors fit a TR4A? I notice you can buy complete new door frames, just a thought.

No as although the door is the same size and shape the lock mechanism is completely different so you would have to change the "B" post face and need new catch plates and lock mechanisms too.

Looking at it the other way, would there be any milage in changing the rear face of the 5/6 door if you've got a TR4/4A door thats scrap? ... no need to source catch plates etc then.

Good luck with that!

TR4/4a doors come up for sale fairly often in good condition. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-TR4A-TR250-TR5-RH-Drivers-Door/153836037392?hash=item23d157a510:g:xd4AAOSwCHhd2q9Q

Actually a 4a door despite what the Ad says. You might need to lead it to suit the gap but its a good start and not expensive.

Another complete with internals https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-TR4-TR5-original-right-o-s-door-as-photos/362970264352?hash=item5482b6b320:g:g3UAAOSw~t5elc0i

Thanks for the quick responses, just a thought, I haven't stripped mine down yet but I know my passenger's door will need some work.

Probably best to repair what you have which always applies to any panels on these cars.
