AarhusTr6
Hi all I have had to clean out a de-rust again my number plate light again after re-fitting after a year. The design seems really flawed and the rubber cups seem to fill up with water and water getting in between the clear glass and the metal surround. I was going to apply silicoln but wondered what others do?
Mark69
Thought someone would have replied by now Aarhus, is this a common problem. My original fell to bits, when I removed it some years ago, I have since found a replacement, so following this post to find out how best to protect. Mark
aardvark
Is this the housing that sits on the bumper. If so, I don’t have any problem with mine leaking. Is the rubber gasket installed properly and in good condition?
PodOne
Just a thought but what about drilling a couple of drain holes?
AarhusTr6
Yes, was thinking of drain holes, but struggle on how this can be the case.
