Ginger biscuit dunked in a mug of tea has served well and ticked all the boxes for nigh on the past 60 years, to my knowledge........ Cannot immediately recall the manufacturer but, it’s NOT

Milk choc hob knobs. They have everything - texture, flavor, proper chocolate not that Hershey ****.

A few years ago I was passing through Frankfurt airport on my way home from somewhere in Asia and I found a package of some little cookies that were like small Jaffa cakes. cookie, orange filling, chocolate on top. They were awesome and I have no idea what they were and have never seen them since.

McVities plain dark chocolate digestives with a thin slice of Stilton, accompanied by a small glass of Port - heavenly.

And even if you don't happen to have them all in the store cupboard at the same time, each will do very nicely on its own.

Strawberries dipped in Chocolate with Champagne, sprinkled with freshly ground black pepper or with a dollop of Clotted cream all sound good to me. To keep this on topic Just add Lidl Oaties on the side.

Yuk thats a waste of chocolate and champers cant stand strawberries.

Stuart.

Strawberries are the food of the Gods - but with Carnation Milk. Sorry!

Biscuit wise - it's got to be Derek Hurford's Scottish Shortbread, but never dunked.

Used to have one of these in my primary school lunch box on days that we had to go to the public, outdoor swimming pool in the "summer".  Oh the joys of freezing while doging dead wasps floating on the surface of the water...

Fruit ones with raisins were my favourite.

What a strange and uneducated lot you really are.

The rules are;

For dunking it is, always has been and always will be Mcvities Ginger Nuts (no imitations accepted)

With blue cheese Mcvities digestive biscuits

For chocolate hit; chocolate digestives (milk or plain, the rules allow for either)

Other acceptable biscuit refreshments are; Garibaldi or plain hob nobs.

These are the rules . . . . End of

So who made you the guru in biscuit etiquette ??

LIDLs Choccie Oaties are the best....

No one likes soggy nuts....

Cheese on McVities digestives us just....well sick.

Choccie fix is the oatie followed by Chunky KitKat

Garibaldi is just ....well dead flies in a sort of weird cracker thingy.
