Hamish
Whilst working on my 3a in this shut down I found that my dynamo was broken a cast Ali lug broken off. all the alternator kits on the market are very expensive and I really wanted one of those small “race” versions that are further away from my 4 branch manifold. however, I’m an electrical numpty. so this is where this wonderful club and forum comes into its own. I reached out to previous posters on the subject and as a result both Peter W. BlueTR3A-5EKT and Tom fireman049 helped me to achieve my goal. both electrically and cost effective sourcing of parts. So thank you chaps and thank you TR Register.

Tony_C
Yes well Done Hamish.. Also, great news to hear Tom is still his usual tremendously helpful self..... Was a tad concerned we’ve not heard from him in a while.... Therefore, Tom, if you are monitoring; missing / thinking of you and hoping you are managing in this particularly difficult time. A good weekend to all, Tony Edited April 24, 2020 by Tony_C
