Grahamgl Posted April 22, 2020 Report Share Posted April 22, 2020 Gentlemen, Hope you are well. I need to buy a low entry trolley jack to go under my TR4 as my present one will not. The car is currently siting on wheel skates so I am unable to measure the distance between the ground and the bottom of the radiator shield. Would someone be good enough to measure the height for their TR4. The jack I am looking at is an SGS one that has a go under height of 89mm. Thanks Graham Quote Link to post Share on other sites

TR4TUNE Posted April 25, 2020 Report Share Posted April 25, 2020 Mines a wee bit lower at 11cm without ARB but at 8.9cm the trolley jack should be fine. Sometimes the problem is how far under you put the jack as the handle cannot then be operated . I use a scissor jack or small bottle jack for initial lift then something more substantial to lift to remove a wheel etc. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
