It doesn't open for me.

Sorry. I tried to embed it, but failed. I suggest you copy/paste the link into the url address bar at the top of the screen.

Alternatively go to the Barnfinds site and search or scroll today's instalment, either will work,

Best,

   David

At any rate, this was the car. Engine bay scuttle looks ok. Chassis number body and engine brass tags.

So someone snapped it up?

It looked a bit ratty but a good base for a restoration project.

Agreed. The carbs are H6s and you can see the aluminium tabs and original, I think, push fit fuel pipes. Looks original from the little on show. It will either pop up again, or aomeone's a happy bunny!

Just past the point of making a survivor/driver, imo, but still nice to have it pretty much intact and unmolested.

What? Restored and never used since? The pictures don't bear that out IMO.

You are quite right! My stupid mistake. I was repeating mechanically what I read, skipping the same question mark in my head. One photo shows a dismantled carburetter. Still, an interesting one, in my view. And It's me who just "liked" your objection, by the by.
