Hi Neil, two thoughts:

1. Chech DVLA website to see if SORN. It is or it isn't, simple.

2. Wite to the TR6 Registrar to see if the current owner is a Register member, even if car is laid up.

Justed checked not sorn on that plate

There is your answer, then. May or may not belong to a current member. At least you know it hasn't been scrapped, or reduced to a parts car.

When I checked a UK. Reg no. Belonging originally to a 1956 Standard Sportsman, KST 845, the database came back with now the reg of a red Rolls Royce. So it would say.

Neil - welcome to the Forum - to get a better response, why don't you ask the moderators to amend the title of your post to omit your name and instead include the registration number of the car  - possible they could also remove the duplicate post with the incorrect registration number.

I would also suggest you edit your post and remove your phone number as all sorts of internet undesirables will like to record it for ulterior motives - instead invite people to send you a personal message through the forum which is totally secure

This way you have the best chance of someone recognising the car from your post heading - also as already suggested contact the TR6 Registrar

Cheers  Rich

Neil, just spotted your post. SRW 634M was re-registered a few years back to SVR 43H. It was in the TR Register however not currently and the last time I made a note of it was when it was for sale on eBay in Burton upon Trent in March 2016

cheers

Derek
