in between sorting out the 4A I pop down the garden and do some weeding.

For the last week I have a little friend whistling tunes as I weed.

It is a Linnet. Robin (Spec Savers here I come) Not seen him before till this last week (apparently I have but not at the top of that tree)..  Turns up about 9am and today he was still there at 5pm.

The jury has had a rethink and has decided it is a Robin.  Not the normal little fat dumpling, but a sleek songster.

So my excellent spot turns out to be something that has been there all winter.

Never mind it is still a good singer.

Lucky you Roger. All I have are the crows, jays and magpies having their annual Spring squabble outside my widow - less than melodic!

Sorry to hear about your widow Miles . . .

Well I've decided to 'hang' the large brass bell thats been sitting in our dinning room for the past 2 years, in the front porch so I can use it for the Thursday night 'clap' (pun intended) to support the NHS.

Not sure what the neighbours will make of it as its very loud but what the heck just hope I don't drop the bl@@dy thing and end up in A&E :D

Stay well all
