Julian Stephens
Mark, your TR carried that registration number when it was for sale in Fowey in July 1993. PM me your email address and I will send you what else I have on the car. 250
Hi Stuart/Julian The story I was told was it was ordered by a Sgt in the USAF, it was originally white (was still under the red) and he then allegedly asked for it to be painted red by the factory and went home without paying so it was resisted under the Home Delivery Export Scheme in June 1967 and sold in this country. It was in a collection in Truro for some years and I brought it from guy in Welwyn garden city about 2002 and ran it until 2013 when I took it off road for some "MINOR" body work (as usual it turned into a restoration) and only now getting it sorted as I brought a 6 to use and only sold that last year. Will do Julian thanks Mark.
