mark_smugglers
Hi I need to reinstall the door channels, glass and top seals and it’s over a year since I took it all apart. What is the logical sequence for reinstall? Is it: 1)channels 2)bottom bar and stop 3) winder mechanism 4) glass 5) inner and outer top seals 6) control arm for opening I’m aware that the top seals are going to be awkward to fit . But wasn’t sure, for instance, if one of them should be fitted pre glass Thanks Mark
tr graham
Mark you will need a tool to fit the clips on the top 2 seals . graham
jerrytr5
Sounds about right but it's long time since I did one. Don't fit the bottom stop until last as you'll need to drop the glass as far as possible to fit the weatherstrips. Jerry

Waldi
Make sure it is the “heavy duty” grade, which it thicker so there is less but still sufficient play for the glass. I’m an “expert”on this, don’t ask why:) Waldi
