Spire clips where can I purchase

Recommended Posts

I have trailed the internet with no luck. The length and width  1" x 1/2" and all I can find are around 1/2" in length or 1" by 3/4" which are the wrong size. The picture is from a TR4 dash and are there for the centre Gauge plate  and to screw into.

Can you help?

Regards Harry

Hi Harry,

Moss give different nubers for laft and right.

these numbers are close to what you want but not exact.

FU2456   1" x 19/32       #12 screw

FU2564  15/16 x 7/16   #8 screw    This one is sold by Moss as FU25648  the end 8 is the screw size  #8.

HI Harry,

rather than a rivnut why not make a spire type clip. Easy enough to do. You do not need fancy spring steel etc. Simple mild steel will work.

The beauty of these is that the hole floats to where you need it.
