Lee Dutton Posted March 9, 2020 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2020 Well great info as usual Roger, took the starter motor off cleaned all the sticky muck off and refitted not too bad, bit of a jiggle between the steering column and inner wing but got there Also new Robert Bosch made in Germany 74Ah battery and she fired up no problem Got to get on with all the other stuff now. Z320 Posted April 18, 2020 Report Share Posted April 18, 2020 Hi all, after 8 years / 25,000 miles the gearbox is out of the car, and the electric starter of cause too. It looks and works like I fitted it, no dust at all, smooth operation, my use of "Balistol" seems not to be that wrong.
