Should the timing be advanced

Recommended Posts

Good day.

I am running tripple webber's on my tr6. Standard cam. Someone told me a while back that the timing should be advanced slightly as they prefer it that way. Or was i hearing something wrong at the time? Hmmm

Timing will depend a lot on your available fuel and the engines compression ratio and a number of other factors so you need to advance the timing until it just starts to pink under load then back it off a bit.
