Tom Fremont
See the underside of this one, and note original paint. They're still coming available it seems, and a terrific bargain at the price among vintage sports cars. https://www.ebay.com/itm/372879733181 Tom Edited December 20, 2019 by Tom Fremont
Waldi
Amazing car Tom. My signal red TR6 had a similar colored underside, so I thought it was body color. Now I’m not so sure. Waldi
Tom Fremont
Supposedly TRIUMPH left the underside in red primer, on TR6s at least. First I heard of it was 17 years ago and have come across it a few times since. I don't think it is commonly known, as this car's description makes no mention of it. There's another one with red primer showing for sale at Beverly Hills Car Club ( they don't mention it either ), but over the years it's only been a few with it showing. DRD
Mine has red primer on the underside where the underseal has come off. I always thought it was because the paint had peeled off as well. Darren

foster461
Sienna Brown the hottest color in the showroom ?. Really ?. Predictbaly all the foam in the seats and visors has turned to dust.
saffrontr
Surprised they can't get the colour right according to the commission plate shown in the photos it is Maple Brown. Shame about the seats as the rest of the car looks in good condition.
foster461
Well spotted Derek. Maple, Russet and Sienna. I guess brown must have been a thing in the 70's. For such low mileage it looked a bit ratty to me. Nice but not quite a cream puff.
