Limawhiskey Posted November 29, 2019 Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 I'm new to TR7 ownership. I need to change the indicator stalk on my '78 FHC. Right hand side fitting. Are any parts interchangeable? The part for a Mini and Spitfire looks very similar, I wonder if they can be tweaked. There's a considerable difference between the two part prices. Xseries Posted November 30, 2019 Report Share Posted November 30, 2019 There were 3 TR7 stalks used, two had little ears (early cars had the stalk fitted with the wash wipe on the left then they swapped over) and the last used ones were plain. Lucas built them all and they are not dissimilar to those used on the Mini and other contemporary cars. With the indicator on the right that is the earlier fitting (I think) so you want the little ears but I can see no reason why you cannot adapt one - it is generally the loom connections that differ.
