Rear camber adjustment on IRS cars

Recommended Posts

I guess what ntc is getting at is that with the selectable fixed brackets it is fairly easy to check which brackets you have and what camber is present and then change the brackets as required to give the correct camber or the camber you desire. The anticipated readings using the various available brackets are well documented on the Technicalities CD.

If suitable settings for road use are not possible with the available brackets then chassis alignment or incorrect spring height/poundage would be suspect.

Of course there will always be some adventurous owners who think the Triumph designers got it all wrong and for them and those seeking fine tuning for racing the adjustable brackets are there to provide endless fiddling.

Yes that would make sense.  I fitted the adjustable ones to mine so I could adjust camber easily if I started to play with wide height. Otherwise the geometry is standard (helped by having a new CTM chassis)
