TwinCamJohn
I have the Haynes workshop manual which covers the TR2 -4A. Is it worth having the factory manual for the TR2 with 3 supplement ? Here is one for sale. https://www.amazon.fr/Triumph-TR2-Service-Instruction-Manual/dp/0948207698/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
iain
The original manual is much better than the Haynes version. They often crop up on eBay.....sometimes very cheaply. £10-15 Iain
TwinCamJohn
Thanks Iain. The link I posted above is the original one isn't it ?
TomMull
It does appear to be a Factory Service Manual. Here in the US, they have become available in new condition, presumably reprints. I don't know how they stand with copyright and all but they do look like the one that I bought in 1964 although I haven't actually seen one. Used examples are also not too rare and I think I'd opt for one of those, if one came up. I may also replace the silver duct tape on mine with red at some point. Ian Vincent
I bought one on disc for a couple of quid. Just print the pages you need when you need them and once they are covered in oily fingerprints, throw them away. Rgds Ian
Charlie D
In the advert it does say: “de Brooklands Books (Auteur)” Brooklands Books , I believe, used to produce copies of all sorts of motoring litrature, so I doubt if it is an original factory WSM. However the information in it should be 100% the same. Charlie.
TwinCamJohn
I have just realized that I have the service manual. It came with the car and was the American Robert Bently print. Stated as an exact copy of the original service manual. Thanks for your help and ideas.
