Grahamgl
Gentlemen, I have fitted led flasher bulbs to my 4A and now have to install the flasher unit. The unit I was sent is numbered 10R 02 7394. The four pins each have two numbers. Pin 1 is numbered 1 and also has a + sign, the pin numbered 2 also has C by it, the pin numbered 4 has — sign by it, the pin numbered 5 has an R by it. There is no PIN number 3. I have “researched” on the internet and I think the wiring to the pins is: Pin 1 —. feed from ignition Pin 2.— wire from the indicator switch Pin 4 — to earth Pin 5 — to the indicator warning light I would be extremely grateful if one of the electrics experts on here could confirm the above and, if I am wrong, let me have the correct wiring positions. Thanks Graham
stillp
Didn't it come with instructions? Pete
Grahamgl
Pete, Unfortunately there were no instructions and when I phoned customer support at the bulb company that supplied it they did not which wire went where. Graham
stillp
I'd demand a refund. Who was the supplier? Pete
monty
Unbelievable supplier!
RobH
Your guess is probably right Graham, but I agree with Pete and Monty. The supplier should give that information. Are you sure there's nothing on the box it came in?
Grahamgl
The item did not come in a box, just a Jiffy bag. The supplier was ABD.
