Z320
Hi, I never understood how to fix the outer rim / bezel on the headlamps. This was always annoying to me. The reason might be there is something missing or wrong with the hole assambly on my TR4A. Yesterday I went my own way and made this spring out of steel. No drills, just a band of bended steel 10 x 1 mm. It is fixed under the rubber seal. My rims have a gaps, obout 12 mm wide. I stick them over the spring and twist the rim about 10 mm, ready. This may help someone with the same problem...? Ciao, Marco
BlueTR3A-5EKT
I put BAU1460 in the catalogues for a reason..... use it when you do not use original 119072 chrome rims https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=PaKoG0hS&id=3A0C0B5FD266AEF406313B0AB641BAD89B7E8469&thid=OIP.PaKoG0hSA7VMLDf-49uCTgAAAA&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.moss-europe.co.uk%2Fmedia%2Fcatalog%2Fproduct%2Fcache%2F1%2Fimage%2F358x358%2F3079b4e07b2c3249c9077203091120dc%2Fb%2Fa%2Fbau1460pic2_12.jpg&exph=358&expw=358&q=bau1460+moss+europe&simid=608024530287592359&selectedindex=0&pc=APPL&vt=4&eim=1,2,3,4,6,8&sim=11 cheers Peter W Edited June 22, 2019 by BlueTR3A-5EKT Reason

BlueTR3A-5EKT
Here are a couple of views of how it was done by Lucas using the piercings in the bottom edge of the bucket. The rusty ones are original TR3A -6 for the clip on chrome rim 119072 the non rusty ones are TR2/3 for the 500929 screw fixed chrome rim. Note how the two legs of the retaining clip pass through the bucket edge and are then bent to make them not fall out. Edited June 28, 2019 by BlueTR3A-5EKT Try to add photos....... Ian Vincent
On one of my 3a headlamp bowls the two pronged clip that the spigot on the bezel fits into is almost rusted through. I’m expecting it to break every time I have to remove/replace the bezel. Are replacements available?

BlueTR3A-5EKT
...but BAU1460 is the MGB spring steel arrangement not the TR two pronged affair. It works fine on a TR. https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/clip-rim-retaining-bau1460.html The real TR original two part spring pronged thing is BAU1460TR https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/clip-spring-rim-retaining-bau1460tr.html?assoc=126301 Cheers Peter
