MilesA
Finally, got round to installing the inertia cut off switch for the electric fuel pump. Have discovered an additional 15 amp fuse in the power line from the ignition activated side of the fuse box to the fuel pump. Retain or discard gentlemen? Hamish
An electrician fitted a fuse to mine the other month when fitting my elec huco pump. Removing the fuse acts as an isolator for security or if I need to refit the mechanical pump. but potentially something else to stop the car working ?!?!?
Lebro
If its a good quality fuse why not leave it in. Bob.
MilesA
Thanks both. Exactly my thinking about another thing to go wrong but equally the fuses in the box could blow at any time with the same consequence. Seems to have worked OK for as long as I have had the car, so left it in. Easily bypassed if I change my mind. Miles
