jfg
Can someone tell me the correct bolt and thread dimensions for the slave cylinder bolts? When i removed mine there were two different bolts and one had ptfe tape on the end. TIA
UlsterTR7
I've just ordered two from a supplier as mine were different; one longer and one shorter with a tapered end. I thought mine had been incorrectly replaced by a PO....
dursley
The parts list shows them as M8 by 30mm long.
jfg
my sizes are long one 40mm and the short one 30mm. I've tested the threads with my metric thread file but no match.

jfg
so an update. i received a unc thread file today with sizes 11-24 on it. the bolts have a pitch of 18tpi. Here comes my lack of memory of non metric fixings/fastenings. How do i write the size of an 8mm bolt with 18tpi thread? m8 just brings me to metric.
UlsterTR7
I just bought two replacement bolts from Robsport; saved a lot of head scratching.
David James
Pretty sure that the thread is 5/16" UNC. Looks similar to M8 but definitely not the same.
