ianc
Charlie - trafficators are fed from the ignition switch, therefore to get your hazard warning to operate, surely you need to have the ignition turned "on"? And if the ignition is "on", the coil can get cooked if the engine is not running, and anybody can hop into the driver's seat and remove the car. Ian Cornish
Charlie D
Ian, Ah… Very good point… Didn’t really think of that. As the car is not on the road yet it doesn’t pose a problem at the moment, but I’ll change the switching as per Bob’s drawing so the hazard bit is fed direct from the battery. But you are right. Thank you. Charlie.

In TR Action 132 (August 1996), I described the fitting of this unit to my TR4, and I included wiring instructions for TR3/3 and for TR5/6. The article is in the Technicalities CD, section J9. If you can't get hold of either TR Action or the CD, send me a PM with your email address, and I'll send you a copy in MS Word. Ian Cornish TR Action issue 132 is available online in the members only section. Stan
