John Morrison
Looking to protect a J type overdrive with an in line fuse. Some clever person want to tell me what size fuse to use? John.
JochemsTR
John, OD switch is installed in the "green" circuit which is protected in the main fuse box. If you want an additional fuse, you can install 10 A. The J OD, compared to A, draws much less current. I did not install a fuse or relais for J-OD. But when, you may want to think about a relais rather fuse. Jochem
Z320
+1 for Jochem's 10A, if you want to use an extra fuse, my TR4A original has only 2 at all, now
tr-idr
John, as above, 10A. That is what Triumph fitted for the Stags with J type.
Steves_TR6
Interestingly my J type had an additional inline fuse of 2A, and this worked for many years so the current draw is LOW! steve
