rvwp
Hi Guys, Is it known from Register records how many TR4A's there are on the DVLA records, either on the road or SORN'd? I saw a number of a 1000 total quoted somewhere but not sure how accurate this is. Rich
Charlie D
Hello Rich, Take a look here: https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/ Problem is that once you start looking you think: “I wonder how many (Insert obscure make here) there are left” Before you know it the whole morning has passed. Andy303
There are, of course, many more in existence in North America, albeit in LHD. Unfortunately here in the States vehicle registration is left to each of the 50 states, each with their own often confusing mish-mash of paper work, and and any kind of systematic data collection is impossible. Survival numbers are very rough estimates as "barn finds" seem to pop up often enough.
MRG1965
How strange the numbers seem to be going up rather than down. I guess repatriation from the US along with long stored vehicles and projects getting back on the road.
Hawk
How many left provides information on how many vehicles are licenced (not how many are actually left) so invariably you see an increase when 40 years is hit (free VED and no MOT). It is also quite interesting to see how many people only tax motorcycles for 6 months ...and with it a corresponding shift in numbers.
