Hamish
First sprint event of the season for the club champs is here curborough 14th April. We have quite a few in our club class. Come and watch if you can. Its a track where spectators can see everything H ps it’s says 14 May on the paperwork but I am sure it’s a typo error we don’t have a curborough in May - I have emailed to check Curborough Entry List V2.pdf Edited April 5, 2019 by Hamish Date clarification. Hamish
Good day at curborough fine and dry but damn cold. Good turn out for the club championship. TR3a. TR4. TR4a. TR6. TR7 of the v8 variety. Dolly sprint. Spitfire. Various numbers of each in various states of tune. Nice to see Mr Boyd visiting. Well, race car support really for the drivers that have “staff” to deliver their cars to the venue many driving to the event in their competing cars. Martin Payne deserves an award for the coldest drive. Setting off from home in the frozen darkness in his open TR6. I don’t think he thawed out all day before driving home after the competition. Others are trying to set a trend of having the engine block the same colour as the car. H ps see that simple small green tent? - - it took 2 of us to wrestle it back into its bag having resorted to reading the instructions .... Tom Boyd
Was great to be there and lovely to chat to you Hamish along with the other boys! It was rather chilly to be fair but what a cracking turn out of Triumphs! Tom
Hamish
Good to see you at the event Tom looking after your customers in a first class way delivering a car to the event ( not mine I’m afraid - it would be in another class if it had TRE power !!!) it was soooo cold the track never warmed up Here are a few of my runs. Practice 1 a very cautious first run of the year on a very cold green track Run 1 Run 2 and personal best time 75.09 despite misfire over the line Edited April 16, 2019 by Hamish Added vid
Deggers
Very nice H. Some impressive runs there. I'm guessing you're not running 'stock' at present? (My '59 3A certainly doesn't sound like that!). One assumes you've a few funky doodads lurking beneath the exterior!

And a remote microphone next to the tail pipe. its a measured 116hp at the flywheel that’s all. it also still has the steering box, with some 185 x 15 tyres lots of fun. Deggers
That's encouraging. Currently running the 3A completely stock, with a recent Dyno tweaking achieving about 100hp. But would be V interested to do a track day. Looks, and sounds great fun. Edited April 29, 2019 by Deggers
